Project Overview:
Weedmaps invited several independent design studios to pitch a travel experience concept aimed at young travelers visiting the LA area. Our task was to ideate and present an engaging app concept that would showcase LA's attractions and activities.

Creative Involvement:
As the creative/art director and visual identity designer, our approach was comprehensive, focusing on naming the app, designing its visual identity, and crafting a targeted campaign strategy for the LA market. Key aspects of our involvement included:

App Naming and Concept: After extensive research and brainstorming, we developed the name Travelrrr. The app was designed to appeal to young travelers by offering insights into LA’s vibrant scene, including art shows, last-minute ticket deals, and seamless reservation options.

Visual Identity Design: We created a cohesive brand identity for Travelrrr, encompassing the logo, color palette, typography, and brand elements. Our design reflected the dynamic and youthful spirit of Los Angeles, resonating with the app’s target audience.

Campaign Strategy: We devised a range of ads and marketing materials tailored for the LA market launch. These included digital and print ads, social media graphics, and promotional content aimed at attracting and engaging users. Our strategy highlighted LA’s unique experiences, encouraging exploration through Travelrrr.

Imaginative Showcase: Despite the conceptual nature of the pitch, we presented a complete visual overhaul demonstrating how Travelrrr could be effectively launched and marketed in Los Angeles. This showcase underscored our creative capabilities and vision for the brand
Outcome:
Our pitch for the Travelrrr app showcased our ability to create a compelling brand experience from inception. The imaginative and strategic approach highlighted our creative potential and provided a clear vision of how Travelrrr could captivate young travelers in Los Angeles, positioning it as a valuable asset for Weedmaps’ travel initiative.
